This 36″ Gold Plated Ceremonial Firefighter Parade Axe is made with a smooth natural hickory finish. It is lightweight and perfect for honor guard marches.
The axe head is traditionally engraved with the department patch and name. The department name can also be engraved on the axe handle or the space can be used for additional text of your choice. The axe handle text is hand painted in black or red, or can be left unpainted (dark wood burn) to create bold text that is easy to read at a distance.
The opposite side of the axe head is typically engraved in a “vertical” layout to accommodate various guard holding positions.
