Intense bright red color with purple highlights; persistent foam of a beautiful pink-lilac. Vinous aroma, pleasantly fruity with a hint of morello cherry. Decidedly full flavor for a Lambrusco, it lives on the harmony between an initial sensation of roundness and the dry and pleasantly tannic finish. Lively, but not aggressive thanks to the slow and careful fermentation. It perfectly accompanies the typical foods of Emilia (tortellini, tortelli, tagliatelle alla bolognese, zampone, tigelle, gnocco fritto, etc.).
Excellent with cured meats even cooked ones such as zampone, cotechino, salama and mariola. It expresses its qualities even when young, but a few months in the bottle refine its characteristics. Good body, it easily resists a few years in a cool cellar.
