A new vintage of this hugely popular wine made by Méryl and Géraldine’s teenage son, Achille. A decidedly juicy carbonic maceration of Cabernet Sauvignon, this year with 50% of the blend coming from a direct-press of Syrah. It’s that easy, straight-up glouglou style, with good times in mind.
Vinified in this way, the wine gives off herby aromas of blackcurrant and soapy red cherry, with some deeper notes coming from the Syrah. Tannins are dialled-back, but not completely absent, ensuring the wine retains a brisk structure to carry the fruit. Served lightly chilled, this is too easy to drink!
