Batch 18K11. Stored in IDEAL conditions! The white outer box has not seen light since it got here from France, nor temp over 74 degrees. 

We started out with Creed back in 2014 and specialized in Creed for many years, with that our main concern has always been impeccable short and long term perfume storage and handling. We’ve sold a lot of Creed over the years, probably 8,000 or so of our 21,000 verified feedback here is for Creed. You can click on ones that say Aventus for many, many references! 

All the above pics are our and show exactly what you will receive. For this type of item/price range we take pictures for each item sold. As you may know, Creed’s flacon packaging is quite cheap! 

Imported direct from France when this batch was newly released; and stored in IDEAL perfume conditions ever since! All the above pictures are ours, to show you the bottle, batch info and from every angle.

Please note, Aventus was reformulated at least twice! Once in 2014, once in late 2019. With that and batch variations, a new bottle is 99.9% sure to smell different than an older one! 

Aventus by Creed is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for men. Aventus was launched in 2010. Aventus was created by Olivier Creed and Erwin Creed. Top notes are Pineapple, Bergamot, Black Currant and Apple; middle notes are Birch, Patchouli, Moroccan Jasmine and Rose; base notes are Musk, oak moss, Ambergris and Vanille.

Top notes: blackcurrant, bergamot, apple and pineapple. Heart: rose, dry birch, Moroccan jasmine and patchouli. Base: oak moss, musk, ambergris, and vanilla.

The best perfume storage is completely dark, cool and low humidity. We have had this exact perfume storage; going back to 2015! 

It is not good for them to be in a retail store environment with fluorescent light! Even sealed in their original boxes, even if the boxes are black most stores DO NOT store their perfume properly. At all. They just hope to sell it within a year.

We started way back in 2014 selling Creed and splits, Aventus is still what the owner of Finescents wears daily! Incorporated in 2015 and trademarked in 2016, we continue to expand to new offerings but always keeping our grounded midwestern ethics. We don’t lie or push or hype market in any capacity! 

Everything we sell is kept in light, temp, and humidity-controlled environment. We ALWAYS ship in new boxes, often in a padded mailer but there is a new box inside it. Double the protection!  After the sale, the packaging is the first thing the customer sees, and we take great pride in packing and timely shipping. We often beat the Ebay estimated delivery time, but we cannot promise it.

We strive to do the extra when something does go wrong. It’s easy the 99.9% of time when things go smoothly, where we really shine as a company and why we have been around so long is we go the extra mile when there is an issue! Vintage or Rare Perfume Disclaimer:

Quality Assurance: We ensure that each perfume we carry is handled and stored properly to maintain its integrity. Older or Vintage perfumes are often desirable to collectors for few reasons- the first two are the main ones

1: The perfume is discontinued and no longer available.

2: The perfume is still available but is different from when it was first released (the artist’s pure intention in the fragrance).

3: The perfume ages well, gets better smelling with age. Least common

Note about all Vintage items: They are sold in the condition stated and shown. We take new pictures for each item sold if we have more than one. Our perfume storage is best in the industry and would be considered ideal to any perfume collector. That said, some vintage items have not been in our possession since their release date. Finescents has existed since late 2013, and the majority of our vintage perfumes were imported from France when available for sale. There are a few exceptions where the owner bought items from before 2010 where there was prior possession. Please read the first couple paragraphs of the description area for batch info, how long we have had the item, and more info.

Vintage and antique items by nature have some imperfections and signs of use, age and time. Perfumes over 3-10 years start to lose their freshness and may start to smell like alcohol. Certain ingredients and compounds will break down and “turn” faster than others. For instance, a perfume using a natural ingredient to make the smell orange or bergamot for the opening will fade quicker than one that uses a synthetic ingredient. Natural ingredients were used much more back in the day. The main point is the older the perfume, the less it may smell like what you may remember. This is NOT a defect of the item we are selling. There is NO, I repeat NO possible way for a bottle that has been stored years and years to smell exactly the same as it did years ago. Due to ingredients. Nature. Physics. Organic things and life.

The ONLY way for it to smell exactly the same as you remember is to go back in time.

Please remember that perfumes ALSO, OFTEN; and often more than ONCE, go through reformulations or changes in ingredients. This can be due to rising perfume ingredient costs, regulations (such as IFRA) on allergens or chemical toxicities, company buyouts, corporate greed, and may not smell the same as what you remember. These reformulations are never disclosed to the public. However, many perfume collectors in forums, online groups etc talk about batch variation and reformulations if you search the perfume name with either of those after it. Packaging and bottle changes are often clues that there has been a reformulation, but not always.
