Originally these split (bifurcated) cables were designed to be used as scanners with emitters and detectors, but now these dual branch light guides has expanded into many more applications. The cable configuration is a 7″ long common section, and the balance of the length in the dual legs. The long leg lengths allow for maximum flexibility with installations and mounting. The fiber bundle is not randomized.
