Schmetz Super Stretch Needle HAx1 SP 90 14

• Schmetz Super Stretch Needles feature a special design for use with highly elastic fabrics. They are made with chrome plating, which is more resistant to abrasion and gives the needle a longer life. 

  The needle is closer to the hook due to the special flat shank, and the uniquely designed scarf area creates a larger needle thread loop, which is more easily grabbed by the hook. These features prevent skipped stitches, even with highly elastic fabrics.

  The strengthened blade reduces needle breakage and produces exceptionally straight stitches. The needles have a broader and shorter eye, as well as a wider thread groove, so they can be used with thicker sewing threads. This reduces the stress on the threads, preventing them from breaking. The medium ball point displaces the loops in the fabric during use, preventing damage to the material and making it suitable for all types of knitted fabric.
